Description

Tonball: The Road To The Championship

Forget everything you know about shooting hoops, because Tonball flips the whole idea on its head. Instead of aiming and firing, you're wrestling with weight itself, holding down the mouse to load up the ball before letting it fly toward a pot sitting somewhere in the distance. Each stage hands you a fresh gap to close and a clock that isn't shy about running out. The setup sounds simple until that first throw sails way past the target or dies short by an inch, and suddenly you're paying attention to every twitch of your click.

Top Tips

Watch the distance before you even touch the mouse, because guessing your weight without checking the gap first is how most shots go wide. A heavier ball travels farther, sure, but too much heft sends it rocketing clean over the pot, so treat the meter like a dial you're sneaking up to rather than something you slam. Short throws deserve a lighter touch, almost a tap, while the far-off pots need you to hold that click a beat longer than feels natural. Give yourself a rhythm, a little count in your head, so your releases stop being random and start being repeatable. Once you find the timing that lands one shot, trust it, because the same weight-to-distance ratio tends to carry over to the next similar setup, and that consistency is what keeps the timer from beating you.

Controller & Keyboard Guide

  • Use the left and right arrow keys to line up your position before committing to a throw.
  • Press and hold the left mouse button to build up the ball's weight.
  • Release the click at the right moment to send the ball toward the pot.
  • Hold longer for distant targets, tap lighter for anything close by.
  • Reposition with the arrows between attempts if your angle feels off.
  • Keep an eye on the timer while you fine-tune each throw, since hesitation costs you attempts.
